about

Memoirs of a common man.
A classic pop/punk album from one of Australia’s most respected trios. Long out of print and now 20 years old.

To commemorate, Antiskeptic’s debut full length will be reissued as a Remastered 20th Anniversary vinyl/digital edition. This will be a strictly limited pressing with only 150 units made, available only through pre-order.

Restored and remastered from the original tapes which first captured the magic of Nicks energetic drums, recorded live in a beach house on the surf coast of Victoria, Andrew and Sean’s guitars filling the auditorium of an empty church in Melbourne’s east and all the vocals in studio. This restoration is as high fidelity, studio accurate and uncompromising as the day we first heard it behind the mixing desk.
Maybe even better?

For this to happen we first had to find all the missing pieces including DAT tapes and old machines to read the tapes, pictures & art files, hard drives and archives etc When all the material had been recovered and assembled once again by David Carr, it was re-mastered by Joseph Carra at Crystal Mastering.

Artwork was updated by Sean for the occasion. Old photos were scanned and edited, lyrics and type mistakes were fixed plus a few other tweaks here and there.

The vinyl will be pressed on stunning 180g heavyweight ‘Electric Blue’ vinyl and come housed in deluxe gatefold packaging with no expense spared to make this a truly special collectors piece.

Each purchase will receive a digital download however we thought we might include a few treats.

Whilst dredging the archives we came across an unreleased song titled ‘Sean I Said’ along with b-sides which have been polished up for inclusion on the digital release only.

Pre-orders open September 3rd. Get in quick because once they’re gone…they’re gone.

We’d like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being such a great audience and sharing this with us!
I wonder if we could still pull it off live?
